Can 2 male guinea pigs live together?

well i don't mind what i get either 2 males or 2 females but i was just wondering do 2 males get along they will be from the same litter and have a big enough cage/hutch etc i have done alot of research and have read that they can get along then i have read that they don't and can fight then i have read and been told that they get along fine and that they have kept 2 and 3 together and have got along and stuff ? so do anyone know if they do or not ? any experiences ?
