I went to my friends house today. HE thinks the world is gonna end?

I went over my friends house today that i havent seen in 6 months. I knock on his door and his mom was glad to see me she let me in and told me he was in the basement. I go downstairs and i see jesus posters everywher and writings that say i love jesus all over this basement. Then i look to the left and theirs a bigg box probably 20 feet by 20 feet and its coverd in chains. I opend it up and their was water bottles and alot of food in their. He told me he has read the bible about 10 times already but theirs nothing wrong with that the part that freaked me out is he told me that the world is ending soon and we need to follow jesus to be saved. He read me a page from the bible and translated it from me. He told me that Obama is the devil and their all in the illuminati and world war 3 is happening soon. The thing that really crepped me out is that he said something bad was gonna happend this month November 2010 and i was watching the news yesterday at work and it said Yasmin or some country i dont remember the exact spelling, is the new afghanistan. Im really tripped out by this could he be right?
