Saving on Guitar Hero 3 very slow?

I have a 64MB 3rd party memory card and i noticed with Guitar Hero 3 and Tony Hawks Project 8 (which i dont really care about anymore) is very slow at saving or checking the memory card. It also seems to only be selct Neversoft games. Did anyone ever have thiss problem and if yes is there a way to fix it?
