What amazes people about Mary, Jesus' Mom?

I will admit that I am not a particularly religious person in that I have no affiliation with any particular religion church, mosque or temple. Yet, I do not understand why people who have no belief answer questions in such insulting ways. Some of the answers here are considered blasphemy to some. It is no wonder that we get involved in wars over religion ,when we cannot even show respect in a chat area. Yeah, I know, free speech. I still think you should at least be respectful of what people hold to be reverent regardless if you believe.
